May we, through your letters page, thank the kind people who helped us in recent bad snow?

Mrs Milk and her team, who despite our steep lane, came every day with milk and papers and even phoned to check whether we were OK or in need of anything.

Mrs Milk even rang door bell to check on us oldies. The neighbour who phoned and fetched prescriptions and another who took me to doctors.

We are very grateful for their thoughtfulness.
