As the most recent custodian of the collection, she has willingly given many days of her time each year to hosting ‘Old Photos of Trellech’ in the Methodist Chapel. Providing a cup of tea and biscuits, she has ensured that an opportunity for folk to gather, reminisce and be together was available in the community. Back in the day, once word got out, people would visit and contribute copies or donate original photos of Trellech and the surrounding villages. In the short term the collection will be looked after by Peter Garwood with a view that the collection will in the long term transfer to Gwent Archives in Ebbw Vale.
