Raglan Football Club have been overwhelmed by the generosity and support of the local people, groups and businesses of Raglan, in the wake of the disastrous fire at the sports pavilion where football equipment in the region of £3-4.000 was destroyed. Amanda Vaughan committee member of the club would particularly like to thank Raglan Village Hall and Recreation Association for donating £300 from the Father Christmas collection in December and to all the local businesses, The Beaufort Arms, Castleoak Construction, Nisa, Extons and Adrian Merrett for his disco expertise and all the local people who attended the disco fundraising event that raised over £1.000. "We are continually receiving money from so many people in the village and we would like to thank them wholeheartedly for their help and support," she said. ? "All the young children at the club were distraught to see all their equipment destroyed but through everyone's kindness and generosity we are able to replace a lot of the equipment quicker than we had ever hoped. "Thank You Raglan!"
