MADAM, On behalf of the 30 youngsters of Monmouth Music Theatre Youth can I thank the Committee of the Lads Club for recently giving us and many youth projects within the town generous donations to help with the running of these deserving groups. It is good that money collected over the years by this committee will be used to benefit a new generation of youngsters within the community. At an excellent presentation, generously hosted by Monmouth Rugby Club, it was pleasing to hear about projects for youngsters that I knew nothing about. Projects that deserve recognition for all the hard work that is put in by hard working volunteers. It is great that the Lads Club is still making a positive contribution to the town's youth and I thank them once again for promoting and supporting these groups within the town. Monmouth Music Theatre Youth, who have recently been nominated for a National Epic Award, will be performing the popular musical Bugsy Malone on the 23rd and 24th October in Monmouth Girls School.
