SIR, I wish to thank the people of Monmouth who gave so generously to my street collection for children born without eyes or with underdeveloped eyes. Myself and two other ladies dressed as Father Christmas and his elves, raised £82 to help towards my target of £1,500 to enable me to run the London marathon. Diane Smith (Monmouth)
