SIR,

I have done a bit more research and have found that One Stop issued a press release in 2010 on the acquisition of 77 Mills stores, just before last Christmas (http://www.onestop.co.uk/documents/press_release.pdf">http://www.onestop.co.uk/documents/press_release.pdf).

In the editor's notes it was pointed out that One Stop had been wholly owned by Tesco since 2003.

Perhaps this explains the secrecy and possibly part of the ever increasing profits from the biggest supermarket in Britain.
