With the start of season and spring weather on the horizon, Monmouth Tennis Club has launched a range of school holiday activities for both members and non-members.
In partnership with Abergavenny Tennis Club, the club is running a half-term tennis camp on Friday 25th February for all children of primary school age.
The camp runs from 12pm to 3.30pm and gives players of all abilities the chance to try tennis, receive instruction and play some enthralling tennis-themed games.
With the club's mini members now having gained experience after a year of the club coaching programme, Monmouth Tennis Club is entering its first ever team in the Aegon South Wales Tennis Leagues.
Running at 'eight and under' level, youngsters from the area will be competing against local clubs in a short form of the game.
The club is holding a Mini Red eight and under competition at Monmouth Leisure Centre on 25th February and a Mini Orange nine and under event on 24th February.
These are suitable for children who already play the game, the competitions will include plenty of matches and treats.
