SIR,
After visiting your lovely town to attend a recent event, I would like to express my concern about the youth presence in the later hours of the evening.
A distinct number of teenage groups were hanging in clusters, in several areas of Monmouth town centre, some of whom were obviously underage and drunk.
Although none was particularly disorderly, their presence was quite unnerving, and I felt sightly intimidated.
I would like to see more amenities for youths available in order to prevent them having to hang around the streets, potentially damaging the town's reputation.
