On Friday, June 20th, Raglan Golf Club will host the Big Golf Race, an ambitious 72-hole challenge aimed at raising funds for prostate cancer awareness and research.
This event will see ten members at Raglan Golf Club take on the gruelling task of completing 72 holes in a single day walking approximately 30 miles.
Participants will aim to generate significant sponsorship funds to support prostate cancer research.
In terms of numbers, approximately 1.4 million new cases were reported globally in 2020 alone. Supporters are encouraged to contribute by sponsoring the players or attending the event to show their backing for this important cause. Together, the participants and the community can help drive change in the fight against prostate cancer.
