Talented young swimmer Tate Jones is celebrating after winning an impressive seven gold medals at a recent South East Wales sub regional meet.
Tate, a Year 7 pupil at Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls, won all of her races in a diverse range of strokes and distances.
In the 100m Free Style, Tate won a gold medal and qualified for the national competition.
In her other races, Tate was just seconds off the qualifying times and hopes to improve on these in her next big events at Easter and in June.
