The event is on June 29 from 8am to 6pm at Monmouth School sports centre.
This year they aim to reach 23,580 lengths which is the same distance from Monmouth to Edinburgh.
The money which is raised from this event will go towards new cancer research projects based on findings from Theo Morin’s PhD supported by Tom’s Fund.
The event began in 2019 in memory of Tom Walker who passed away after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia in 2018.
When the event commenced, they had over 1,100 swimmers taking part and they have raised more than £100,000 to support research into leukaemia and glioblastoma through Cancer Research Wales.
