MONMOUTH’s Age Cymru charity shop held a summer fashion show with a bevy of beauties on the runway.

As well as showing off some of the stylish clothes that they have on sale at the shop – which punters were able to buy on the night, there was a glass of wine included. There was also a range of prizes, including a canoe trip for two people down the river Wye with Canoe the Wye Hire, afternoon tea at Salt and Pepper and a Sunday lunch for two at the Royal Oak among the prizes, with a bottle of champagne and a big box chocolates also up for grabs.

Manager Carol Hoskins said they had raised a fabulous £600 on the evening.

“It was a lot of hard work, but it was worth it,” she said.

“I want to thank all the volunteers who gave their time to make this event such a success,” she added.
