SIR, I understand that many of those who serve this town do not have the resources they would like or the freedom to make choices. So here are some suggestions that may help to find new ways to enhance this town of peace and beauty. Secure major private funding and foreign investment to build a second bridge over the river, from Dixton Roudabout. In the meantime provide warning signs of congestion and diversion suggestions all the way back to Ross on Wye and find sites for park and ride. Also secure major funding to re-open train lines to Chepstow and Hereford. If the HS2 does not happen, investment in local lines may become even more viable. Also find ways to reward those who do not use cars for school runs, and bring in night bus services to and from Monmouth. Affordable housing in the town is a given, this is desperately needed. The great and the good may want to help provide money to make take the tired look from some of our buildings in order to beautify our town. I hope this helps Stephen Starkie (Ross-on-Wye)
