Ross Badminton Club fielded an exceptionally strong team of juniors for the Hereford Junior Tournament held at Hereford 6th Form College on Sunday, February 17th, taking first place in two finals and second place in a third. The under 17s final for Boys' Doubles was an 'all Ross' affair with Will Gooch and Richard Tullett winning, after a fantastically competitive final with excellent rallies, against fellow Ross team mates Chris James and David Skyrme. Setting a new record for themselves, Ryan Clack and Alistair Jones won the under 14s Boys' Doubles without dropping a single point in any of their games. In the under 19s Boys' Doubles Ross club juniors again showed their sporting form with James Sibbet and Adam Robinson taking second place in a hard fought final. Caroline Hartland and Elin Lancett, playing for the first time as partners in the under 17s Girls' Doubles, finished extremely well against strong competition, whilst Dorian Kiss made his competition debut in the singles fixture following the main tournament. And to cap Ross' successes for the day, Ryan Clack won the 'friendly singles'.
