Yet again Natural Resources Wales has acted as a business retardation device perhaps on behalf of the drab, lifeless Welsh Assembly who appear to dislike Monmouth due to its Conservative base.

I note NRW’s offices are in a flood plain so perhaps need to move somewhere a long way away from Monmouth?

We build houses on flood plains. We have schools on flood plains. Even a holiday park and businesses. But a hotel? No. A small retail park? No.

Frankly the dual standards applied here stun me.

I think NRW require auditing and decision process critiquing.

What a sad state of affairs and obvious shun of Monmouth by any institution falling under the Welsh Assembly.
