FORMER commander of the International Space Station Chris Hadfield was in Monmouth this week promoting his new children’s book The Darkest Dark.
In a week of big-name appearances, Rossiter Books in Church Street also welcomed Sir Tony Robinson on Friday and Rick Stein on Monday.
On 8th October the former Commander of the International Space Station Chris Hadfield returned to Monmouth.
He featured at Rossiter Books on Church Street to sign copies of his books, including his debut children’s book ‘The Darkest Dark’.
His appearance followed the visit of Sir Tony Robinson, who appeared at Rossiter Books on Friday 7th October to promote his autobiography ‘A Cunning Plan’.
Rick Stein was also in Monmouth at the Savoy Theatre on Monday 10th October discussing his book and television show ‘Rick Stein’s Long Weekends’.
Mr Stein spoke about his travels and discussed different recipes from his popular television series. Afterwards he signed copies of his book.
