MADAM,

We would like to apologise for any offence we may have caused with our article in the paper regarding spring lamb at Easter on 12th April (‘Square Farm Shop: the truth about Easter lambs’.)

It has been brought to our attention that the article may have come across as unfair and discrediting towards other farming methods. This was not our intention and we never meant for this in anyway, for this we whole heartily apologise.

As farmers we understand that to produce spring lamb for Easter requires the finest flock of sheep cared for to the highest of standards using the very best of husbandry skills. Without all of these things together it would not be possible to produce spring lamb for Easter. We at Square Farm respect any farmer managing to achieve this by getting everything right and feel that all British farming should be supported wherever possible.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support not just with us but all British farming.
