Residents of Drybridge Gardens had a ghostly start to their fundraising venture with a spook-tacular cake sale.
It is the start of their campaign to renovate/ convert the Victorian outbuilding in the grounds of Drybridge Gardens into a wheelchair accessible community hub for everyone.
The money raised from this event will fund further events, the next being a Christmas party and fete in December.
Staff and residents would like to thank the Rotary Club and other local organisations for help in funding and building the gazebo in the communal garden in 2015 which is very well used and much appreciated.
The intention is to create more accessible, all weather communal space for the residents here and the local community.
They have set up a crowd funding page as another facility for people and organisations to donate to this project https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/Drybridge-gardens
