STUDENTS at Monmouth Comprehensive School have recently benefited from a sponsorship grant from Monmouthshire Housing Association (MHA) for their sport tour to Greece. 

The trip will give 126 students the opportunity to experience their sporting interests in a different cultural environment for one week during April.

The contribution towards the tour will help to finance essentials such as water and additional kit.

This is so that the students have more funds for excursions and other cultural experiences, as well as polo shirts for the students.

Group leader Dave Egan said: "Once again we are grateful for Monmouthshire Housing Association's sponsorship of our annual sports tour. 

"The support the school has received, both from a financial and also in a guidance capacity, continues our excellent relationship and helps build upon the strong links within the local community."
