HMSG pupil Pip Christie is celebrating after returning from the Ghent International Regatta last weekend with a silver medal in the Junior Doubles.
In this international event, Pip and her rowing partner Klara Weaver from Latymer Upper School competed against over 30 teams, beating two French national crews and one Dutch national crew. Pip also came 4th in the Junior Singles out of 55 athletes and 3rd in the Under 23 Doubles.
The silver medal tops off a fantastic season so far for Pip, who has also secured a place in the final trials for Great Britain ahead of the World Rowing Championships in the summer.
