A pair of boxing gloves signed by British and Commonwealth champion Lee Selby are to be auctioned off for charity.

The 26-year-old Selby, who is also the WBC international featherweight champion, and his coach Tony Borg met general manager Mark Gilmour and events co-ordinator Mandy Chambers from Chepstow's Asda distribution centre to donate the gloves.

"Tony also happens to be an old school friend and who I hadn't seen for 30 years," said Mandy.

"Both gloves will be auctioned off for charity. One we will be donating to Chepstow Rugby Club to support their Sportsman's Charity Dinner on Friday (11th October) to raise funds for Velindre.

"And we will use the other one to raise funds for our charity, Orchid."
