A FANTASTIC time was had by all in the sunshine at Cross Ash Village Show and Fun Day.

The hall was bursting with delicious cakes, gorgeous flowers, amazing vegetables and imaginative children’s crafts. The afternoon was fun-filled with a huge climbing wall, animal safari, dog show and too much entertainment to name! The dog show was as popular as ever and Chloe Whistance made a beautiful Miss Cross Ash.

The organisers are keen to thank the local businesses who supported them - Border County Vintage Society, Images, Extons, Monmouthshire Ironing, Raglan Fryer and Frank Sutton.

A new feature this year came in the shape of an auction. Donations were received from the WRU, Cardiff City Football Club, Newport County, Newport Dragons, We the Curious, Dan-yr-Ogof Caves, Avon Valley Railway, Green Spider Climbing, Battlelands Paintball and Chepstow Racecourse.

Winner of the fancy dress was Edie Hicks.
