Visitors to Monmouthshire Show hailed the return of the Grand Parade of Livestock which was the highlight event for many years before the evil finger of Covid pressed the pause button.
The show on Sunday saw cattle, sheep and pygmy goats take centre stage in the main ring for a presentation of prizes for the champion animals, judged throughout the day in the animal pens.
The sun took some time out to allow a respite from the baking weather of the previous week leading to a pleasant day browsing the stands and the attractions the show had to offer.
See the Beacon this week for a full round-up of the day’s highlights and show-stoppers!
