SIR, I am writing to thank David Fettis for organising a wonderful art exhibition in the Shire Hall over Easter. At short notice he drew together a collection of works in a variety of mediums, including sculpture and egg tempera, watercolours, oils and more. There was a wide selection of artists across all age ranges and visitor numbers were high. This exhibition was conceived, planned out and indeed funded by David and with a small band of helpers. He spent two whole days hanging and arranging the works so that the room was interesting and engaging. What a wonderful philanthropic deed this was. As one of the artist's exhibiting I was really impressed with his enthusiasm and energy in setting up the event. Debbie Devauden (Botanical Artist)
