HM Revenue and Customs officers have carried out raids in Cardiff, Monmouthshire, Northampton and the Netherlands.

 As a result, four men and three women, including a couple from Shirenewton and a woman from Chepstow, have been arrested by officers investigating a suspected £4m tax fraud. 

The alleged offences include income tax, VAT and corporation tax evasion, construction industry fraud and money laundering.
