October was the month of transition for the senior golfers at Monmouth with the 2009/10 captain Trevor Knight fulfilling the last duties of his captaincy before formally handing the reins to the new incumbent at the Annual General Meeting.
Prior to the AGM dinner and meeting, the seniors braved very wet conditions to compete in a Stableford Competition which was won by Graeme Laws with 35 points.
At the subsequent, very well-attended AGM, Trevor expressed his gratitude to his fellow seniors for the contribution their co-operative and enthusiastic support had made to the successful year over which he had presided.
