I was very pleased to read about the speed signs at Wyesham having been erected. Having lived on the Hadnock Road for some fourteen years or so, I think the time may be close for us also to have speed signs.

I have attended many meetings over the years and have asked for Hadnock Road speed signs. When approached, the police have said that it is a thirty miles per your speed limit area, and then asked how this could be policed without signs? It is always being looked into, is the reply.

Perhaps now we have a new school (The Grange) opening in the near future, we will also now qualify for speed restriction signs to be erected. Many motorists use Hadnock Road to see how fast their vehicles can go, and I can assure you some of them can go!
