A SCHOOLBOY died after a road accident in Devauden last Thursday morning.
Scott Sadler, aged 12, was involved in an accident with a Vauxhall Astra outside the church in the village at 8.20 am. He received severe head and chest injuries and was taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, where he later died.
Following the accident the road was closed until 12.30 pm
Traffic officers are investigating and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 01633 838111.
