PUPILS at Wyesham Infants' School were sent home for the day on Monday because the school was flooded.
Headteacher Mrs Bronwen Hawkins said staff had arrived at the school on Monday to find water spurting from the radiators and the heating off.
"We have been having a lot of repairs done in the school but don't know exactly what happened. All the corridor carpets were saturated. It wouldn't have been so bad if it had happened on a week day but because it was over the weekend, you can imagine what it was like."
The School re-opened on Tuesday.
