SIR, Here at the busy Rockfield Estate, our Saturday Royal Mail collection time has been changed from 11am to 9am. Clearly, this is the penultimate step towards not having a Saturday collection. We have a small red public posting box. Collection by Royal Mail is 4pm. The box is frequently overfull by early afternoon; it is difficult to squeeze in a single letter but easy to grab a handful. My request to Royal Mail for a larger box was met with the response that a person who posts a large number of packages has been identified and told to use the Post Office instead.
