A Monmouth teenager has been awarded a bursary of £400 to further her flying ambition, thanks to the Royal Aero Club Trust (RAeCT).
Sarah Reed, of the South Wales Gliding Club, was lucky enough to land one of the bursaries which are given out as part of the trust's Flying for Youth (FfY) program.
"I am delighted to have been chosen to receive this prestigious bursary," said the 18-year-old.
"This award will definitely help me extend myself within the sport of gliding and I look forward to developing my skills."
