Regular customers at Sarah O'Connor 's 'Fabulous Fish' stall at Monmouth market will not be surprised to learn that her business will be representing Monmouthshire at the 2009 Seafood Awards to be held at a grand gala awards ceremony in London later this year.

Fabulous Fish have been nominated for the internationally recognised award in the development and training category for seafood retailers.

Sarah is absolutely delighted to be there representing Monmouthshire, and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of her wonderful local customers who have supported her relatively new business, and played their part in lining her up for this award.

Customers who appreciate fish already know Sarah well, and recognise that as well as providing the freshest fishy ingredients, Sarah is also brilliant at giving advice about preparation and cooking, yes even for the Conger Eel that she is holding in the picture!

Anxious to ensure that she makes the most of this 'Oscar' type awards ceremony, Sarah is already practising her gracious acceptance speech, 'just in case.'

She is determined to credit her customers in Monmouth and Monmouthshire with being the inspiration to the high standards that she has set herself.
