SPIRIT of Monmouth Running Club are delighted to announce their annual Santa Fun Run will take place on Sunday 6th December. Starting at 10am on Monnow Bridge, the two kilometre route takes entrants up through Monnow Street and across Vauxhall Fields to finish at Monnow Bridge.

This year the event will raise valuable funds to help support Homestart Monmouthshire, an independent registered charity that supports struggling families with at least one child under five living in Monmouthshire. The small staff team recruits and trains local volunteers and carefully matches them with local families who need support.

The scheme is managed by a board of volunteer trustees and is responsible for raising all its own running costs.

Fancy dress is optional, and anyone interested is encouraged to bring family and friends and join the fun by walking or running the course or by dressing up and giving the runners some encouragement as they take to Monnow Street.
