I'd like to offer my congratulations to all members of Monmouth Comprehensive School Boat Club, who took part in the fundraising half-marathon in the Forest of Dean on Saturday 22nd March.

All 68 athletes completed the course and raised a superb amount of sponsorship. The achievements in this event were humbling as all participants gave everything to ensure that they finished the course. The camaraderie was exceptional, which added to the wonderful atmosphere.

Thanks must also go to the parents who gave up their time to marshall the course and ensure the safety of all participants and provide well-earned refreshments at the end of the morning.
