The inaugural International River Run will be held this Sunday (25th August), starting at 10am from Monmouth Rowing Club with the finish about 14 miles later at The Hope & Anchor, Ross-on-Wye.

This first year's event is very much a trial run to see how much interest there is, and what the reaction is to the course.

There is no entry fee, and symbolic prizes only for the first three finishers.

The course is a quite demanding 'trail', virtually all on public footpaths following the Wye – extremely scenic and varied.

It is suggested that, if you are interested, you carefully read the brief on the website and submit your details.

Also, please note that it starts in Monmouth and ends in Ross so where you leave your car is important.
