Madam, Let's stop quibbling about whether one Ross resident's description of Ross was 'tosh' or 'over the top' and get down to the nitty gritty. Ross town, particularly during weekend evenings and nights is lawless, getting worse and nothing appears to be being done about it. I'm encouraged to read that Councillor Edwards and Mayor Derek Bedford are also concerned and seeking meetings with the police. I can only hope that they have more success than I did. Last October I wrote to the Chief Constable regarding the situation in Ross. My letter was passed from pillar to post until eventually in February this year I received a visit from the local community policeman. He wrote a report on my views and said that I would receive a reply from the Inspector of Ross as he was duty-bound to make such a reply. Well we are now in July, and guess what?
