Monmouthshire County Council has agreed the following temporary road closures so work can go ahead:

A section of Goldwire Lane, Monmouth, will be closed between May 9 and May 11 so Dwr Cymru Welsh Waterworks can carry out work.

There will be a temporary closure on a section of R121 and Bluebell Road, Shirenewton, Monmouthshire between May 11 and May 13, operating between 8am and 5pm. This is necessary for tree works to take place in a safe manner at the location.A signed diversion route will be in place as follows: R121, B4235, Old Road, Llanynant Road, Alltybella Road, Llanllowell Lane, R113 and vice versa.

A temporary closure of a section of the R113, Llantrisant, Monmouthshire will be in place between May 9 and May 11, operating between 9am and 5pm. This is so MJ Quinn works can take place in a safe manner at the location.

A signed diversion route will be in place as follows: R121, B4235, Llanynant Road, Alltybella Road, Llanllowell Lane and vice versa.

A temporary closure of a section of the R108 at Tredunnock will be in place between May 9 and May 10, operating between 9am and 3:30pm.

This is necessary for carriageway maintenance works to take place. A signed diversion route will be in place as follows: R106, A472 Bridge Street, A472 Castle Parade, Twyn Square, Priory Street, Church Street, Maryport Street, R113, R110, R108 and vice versa.

There will also be a temporary closure of a section of Manson Lane, Manson, between May 10 and May 12 so Dwr Cymru Welsh Waterworks to carry out work on site. A signed diversion route is as follows: A466 Hereford Road, C1247, Tregate Lane and vice versa.

Reasonable access will be maintained for all properties fronting the affected lengths of roads during the period of the closures.
