Beacon reader Jonathan Badham sent us this picture showing a cattle yard and pens at the back of G Jones, builder and contractor in Monmouth. He believes this could be the father of late Monmouth historian Derek Jones and possibly the building is in the vicinity of the present day Salt and Pepper store. Can anyone shed more light on this?
