A FUNDRAISING Christmas coffee morning was held for Raglan’s ongoing Raise the Roof cause on Friday (15th December).
Monmouth AM Nick Ramsay is pictured popping in for coffee and cake at St Cadoc’s Church, with Beverley Jones, Donald Spencer, Margaret Lawrence and Neville Crump.
The successful roof campaign will conclude with a Christmas quiz at The Beaufort on Thursday 28th December.
Mr Ramsay also attended a recent Christmas market held in the village on 6th December. Mr Ramsay said: “The market was well attended by both locals from the village and visitors from further afield. It was the first event of its kind to be held in Raglan, and Miguel of The Beaufort is due thanks for agreeing to host the event.
“I hope the Christmas market will become an annual event in the village.
“There were lots of goods for sale including chocolates, teddy bears and bric-a-brac, providing a good source of Christmas gifts and an opportunity for everyone to meet up and enjoy some festive spirit. I look forward to attending again next year.”
