At a special public meeting on Thursday 26th February there will be the opportunity for the residents of Raglan to learn more about  a potential twinning partner for their village.

A fact finding team from Raglan has spent the last few months corresponding with the French village which is located within the beautiful and historic Loire region  and within easy travelling of Raglan.

Members of the team have  visited the village and had preliminary discussions with the mayor and councillors to see  what synergies exist between the two villages.

The public meeting organised with the support of Raglan Community Council will outline some of the many benefits twinning can bring to Raglan. After  a question and answer session all those present  will have the opportunity to vote for or against the twinning initiative.

The meeting will take place at the Beaufort Arms on Thursday 26th February commencing at 7.30pm.

All residents of the village, community groups, schools, churches, sports associations and individuals of all ages are invited to attend.
