QUIZ goers from across Monmouthshire came together on Thursday 29th December as local AM Nick Ramsay hosted a quiz at the Beaufort in Raglan to raise money for the ‘Raise the Roof’ campaign.

The campaign aims to raise more than £400,000 to repair the roof of St Cadoc’s Church – some of which dates back to the 14th century.

The ballroom of the Beaufort was packed on Thursday evening and Nick Ramsay resumed his role as quizmaster.

Nick Ramsay said: “It was a pleasure to host another quiz to raise money to secure the future of St Cadoc’s Church, which plays such an important part in the local community.  We are now one small step closer to the £400,000 target.”
