Funds raised at the Monmouth Charity Raft Race continue to come in for St David's Foundation.
To date the event has raised a staggering amount of over £15,000. Typical of the fundraising is the Apprentices from BAE Systems, who raised £775.
Kris Broome of St David's says: "This is fantastic support from the community, and shows that even in these difficult times people still care and give generously.
"It's not just money either, it's the spirit with which people enter into the Raft Race - building a raft, transporting it, and fundraising requires a lot of commitment, and we acknowledge this and are grateful for it".
St David's Foundation are looking forward to working with the Rotary Club of Monmouth again next year on the 2010 Monmouth Charity Raft Race
