ONE of the most esteemed and knowledgable equine grooms in the world will be speaking in Monmouth on 23rd September.
Terry Pendry is stud groom and manager to Her Majesty The Queen at Windsor Castle, and in support of the Society for the Welfare of Horses and Ponies (SWHP), will be speaking at The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club as part of a special evening.
Beginning at 7pm, the event includes a two-course buffet meal and as well as a question and answer session with Mr Pendry following his talk and slide show.
The Queen’s life-long love of horses has seen her produce some of the most well-bred native and race horses in the world. Overseen by Mr Pendry, the expert horseman will have plenty of stories to share about the hidden world of royal horses.
All money will go to SWHP, as the busy Monmouth equine welfare charity prepares for its busiest time of the year with the winter creeping forward.
Tickets are available for £40 by calling the charity on 01600 750233, or emailing [email protected].
