William Philip Goldie, aged 22, who absconded from HMP Prescoed yesterday (6th June), has been located and arrested in the Gloucestershire area and returned to the custody of the prison service.

Officers thanked both the media and the public for their co-operation and assistance in locating this individual.

Goldie was convicted of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply in 2009 and sentenced to 30 months in prison. He is not a sex offender.
