Chairman of Monmouth and District Chamber of Trade and Commerce commented: "Congratulations and thanks to the organisers of this year's Festival, Monmouthshire County Council officers , volunteers and the Town Council , for their part in organising an event that remains one of the most important local and visitor experiences on the calendar.
"On the evenings that I attended, there certainly was a family atmosphere and I have received a number of positive comments about the way the Police monitored the event, which no doubt contributed to the relaxed party mood.
"The spectacular closing fireworks display on Saturday evening was a fitting finale to a week of excellent music , held at a number of town venues, and the Chamber hopes that the Festival can be even bigger and better in 2010 , which is destined to be a year packed with town and local events "
