A Father and son team led the way as the annual Santa Fun Run returned to Monnow Street.

Oscar and Stuart Nash from Usk were first back to the Monnow Bridge out of the 382 registered runners for the annual event with Will Chalk not far behind, but ahead of MP David Davies who came in third. Young Tia Watson was the first female back.The Spirit of Monmouth Running Club raised in the region of £1,500 to be donated to the Monmouthshire County Council Christmas Wishes appeal.Race Director Helen Dunn thanked all those who volunteered to help make this year a huge success "and everyone for entering on a very cold and not particularly dry Sunday morning.
