POLICE have thanked the people of Monmouth after recovering goods stolen during burglaries in the town.
Computer equipment, two laptop computers and a number of mobile phones were seized after Monmouthshire police executed a search warrant in Gloucestershire.
As a result of community intelligence and proactive policing, officers took action and carried out the warrant on an address in Westbury on Severn last Wednesday, 7th April.
The main aim was to recover stolen goods from a spate of burglaries which took place in Monmouth town centre towards the end of 2009.
