Physios Sue Barker and Caroline Tuson are facing the challenge of a lifetime as they attempt to get fit enough to stagger around the London Marathon in April. They will be raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. However, the hard work the two have put in will be worthwhile if they succeed in raising £3,000 for J.D.R.F as Sue's daughter, Jess, has type one diabetes. Caroline is supporting the charity as her daughter's best friend, Nikita, has type one diabetes. Nikita's mum, Andrea Bayliss, has been a terrific supporter with fund raising activities and the next fund raiser is Paul Morgan's Innovation Disco at Cross Ash Hall on Friday, March 30. Readers can sponsor them by getting forms from the physio department in Monnow Vale or by visiting their on line fundraising page at http://www.justgiving.com/">www.justgiving.com/ barkertuson.
