Once again Penallt Tennis Club have had a successful season of competitive team tennis.

All five teams have finished in the middle of their respective divisions with most of the teams improving on their starting positions.

The Mixed A team are especially pleased with themselves. Much to their alarm they were promoted to the premiership this year and much to their amazement they have finished the season third out of six.

They were only beaten by Abergavenny A and Allt-yr-yn A. The regular players have been Chris and Rosie Adams, Ian Lewis and Sue Humble and Nigel and Jane Bryan with appearances from Lynda Thornycroft, John Robinson and Chris Hollick.

The Mixed B team finished in mid position in division one. They were a little put off in their final match of the season at Allt-yr-yn. The problem was a nurse's retirement party.
