A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a road traffic collision involving a lorry.

A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “We received a report of a road traffic collision in Caldicot Road at around 10.15am on Friday, October 30.

“Officers attended along with paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service. The collision involved a pedestrian and a lorry. The pedestrian has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.”
